Gas Site Manager

About the Role
Cappagh is a leading provider of utilities and infrastructure services, working in partnership with SGN across the South of England. We are looking for an experienced Gas Site Manager to join our team and lead the delivery of safe, compliant, and high-quality gas works on site.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise gas mains replacement and infrastructure projects.
- Lead site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with SGN procedures, health & safety requirements and industry regulations.
- Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and stakeholder engagement.
- Complete site documentation and reporting accurately and on time.
- Promote a strong safety culture across all operations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential
- Previous gas supervisory experience (mains replacement preferred).
- Site management experience with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Strong focus on safety, quality and customer care.
- Working knowledge of SCO procedures and SGN requirements.
- NRSWA Supervisor qualification.
- SHEA Gas qualification.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
- Competent Person (SCO5) qualification or working towards.
- Authorising Engineer (SCO2) permits qualification, particularly for high-risk plant and deep excavations.
- Deep Excavation and Working at Height experience.
- Temporary Works Appointed Person (BS5975).
- Fire Marshal and First Aid qualifications.
