About us
The Lord Kitchener is a family-oriented country pub in Curbridge, near Witney, serving quality, fresh food in a warm, rustic setting. We’re now looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the team and take the pub forward.
About the role
You’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the pub, including:
- Managing the bar and restaurant
- Operating the EPOS system, including cash handling and reconciliation
- Cellar management, including line cleaning and quality control
- Building and managing staff rotas
- Ordering, stock control and supplier relationships
- Recruiting, training and developing the team
- Health and safety compliance across the site
About you
- Proven experience managing a busy bar and restaurant
- Confident using EPOS systems and managing a cellar
- Strong background in staff training and rota management
- Solid understanding of ordering, stock control and health and safety
- Able to start straight away and hit the ground running
