Circle Mobile is looking for a reliable and adaptable Multi-Skilled Operations Operative to join our team.
This is a varied role where you will be trained to work across several areas of our operation, including device processing, testing, quality control, first-line repairs and logistics.
Rather than being assigned to one function permanently, you'll develop the skills to support different areas of the business depending on operational requirements.
What You'll Be DoingDevice Processing & Testing
- Process mobile phones, tablets, laptops and other electronic equipment.
- Test mobile devices using PhoneCheck and other diagnostic tools.
- Identify devices and accurately record specifications and asset information.
- Assess and grade equipment against company standards.
- Identify hardware, software and cosmetic issues.
- Maintain accurate records within company systems.
Quality Control
- Complete quality-control checks on devices before customer orders are dispatched.
- Confirm products meet the required specification, condition and grade.
- Identify discrepancies or quality issues before products leave the business.
- Ensure testing and QC results are accurately recorded.
First-Line Repairs
- Carry out basic diagnostics and first-line repairs on electronic devices.
- Complete straightforward component replacements where required.
- Identify faults that require further technical repair.
- Accurately record repair activity and outcomes.
Logistics
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Prepare electronic equipment for safe dispatch.
- Support goods-in and stock movements.
- Assist with stock control and inventory organisation.
- Check products, quantities and specifications against customer orders.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Technically minded with an interest in mobile phones, computers and electronics.
- Adaptable and comfortable working across different operational functions.
- Highly attentive to detail.
- Confident using computers and learning new systems.
- Able to work accurately while maintaining good productivity.
- Organised and comfortable following defined processes.
- Confident identifying and raising quality issues.
- Reliable and willing to support the wider team when priorities change.
Previous experience within electronics, mobile devices, IT equipment, quality control, device repair, processing or logistics would be beneficial but isn't essential.
Experience with PhoneCheck or similar device-testing software would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.

Pay: £26,437.00 per year
