- Basic Salary: Up to £43,680 per year (based on 40-hour week)
- Overtime: Available at enhanced rates
- Realistic OTE: £48,000+ per year with overtime
Overview
We're looking for a top-tier HGV Technician to join a premium workshop in Manchester. This role is for a skilled technician who values structure, consistency, and high standards, working a straight day shift with a modern fleet and clear progression opportunities. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and major repairs on HGVs to the highest manufacturer standards
- Perform advanced diagnostics and complex fault-finding using the latest equipment
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with strict workshop protocols
- Maintain meticulous job card documentation and uphold impeccable workshop organisation
What You'll Need
- Recognised Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI)
- Proven experience as a high-calibre HGV Technician in a commercial or dealership environment
- Excellent diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical repair skills
- Full UK driving licence (HGV preferred)
- A methodical, quality-focused approach and strong work ethic
