About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive Operational Supervisor to oversee the delivery, collection and on‑site operation of our event equipment, including inflatables. This is a hands‑on role: the successful candidate will be actively involved in loading vans, driving large vehicles, setting up equipment, supervising on‑site activity, and packing down safely and efficiently.
You’ll plan delivery routes, manage staff rotas, communicate with customers, monitor weather conditions, and make operational decisions to keep events running smoothly. The role also includes overseeing established processes for equipment and vehicle maintenance, staff training and Health & Safety compliance.
Location and Hours
- Shifts start from our base in Blyth and we travel across the North East and Scotland.
- Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays are required working days every week.
- You will be required to work additional days to support operations when busy, including some Sundays and bank holiday Mondays.
- Admin, cleaning and maintenance shifts are usually completed midweek and are somewhat flexible.
- Shifts can start from 7am during busy periods and/or finish late.
- Over the winter period you will typically do 25 to 30 hours per week, with the option of increased hours during December and June, July, August.

- Confident communicator with a calm, practical approach.
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety and risk management.
- Must hold a full driving licence and be confident driving large vans.
Additional Requirements
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying and manoeuvring event equipment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
No previous events experience required!
