Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled, enthusiastic and passionate contemporary or lyrical teacher who also has the training and ability to also deliver drama classes. We are particularly keen to hear from individuals who are also trained in singing and/or musical theatre.
The role involves teaching up to seven classes on Saturday’s (depending on experience) in Newbury Park, Ilford from 10.00am until 4.15pm.
You would work with toddlers aged 12 to 35 months with their parents support as well as ages 3 to 17.
Great teaching as well as choreographic skills are important to us.

Duties
- Design and deliver interactive lessons focused on contemporary or lyrical practices, and drama techniques tailored to students’ skill levels
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and confidence-building among students of all ages
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development
- Incorporate diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Prepare students for performances, auditions, or presentations by guiding rehearsals and offering coaching on delivery and stage presence
- Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding student progress and upcoming activities
Experience
- Proven experience in teaching contemporary or lyrical and drama,
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and young learners in educational settings
- Strong communication skills to clearly convey concepts and motivate students of varying ages and backgrounds
- Prior experience in performing arts is highly desirable
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that inspire creativity while meeting educational objectives
