Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
- Serve drinks at the bar, including mixing cocktails, pouring wines, and handling cash or card transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and bar areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage guest inquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure a positive experience
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality with previous restaurant or bar experience preferred
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety protocols, and basic food preparation skills
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing and cash handling
- Experience working in a kitchen environment or culinary setting is a plus
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently and professionally
