Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Associate to join our team as a delivery partner of Amazon. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers, maintaining excellent communication throughout the process. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly for transit
- Plan efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption
- Verify delivery orders and obtain signatures upon receipt from customers
- Deliver excellent customer service at every stop
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery logs and receipts
- Assist with warehouse organisation, including heavy lifting of goods and stock management
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle at all times
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with maintenance schedules
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to ensure safety standards are upheld
- Maintain professional driving standards at all times
Qualifications
- 2 years proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial driving procedures
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to navigate using GPS devices or maps efficiently
- Physical fitness to lift items and perform manual handling tasks as required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
- Organised, punctual, and able to manage time effectively under tight schedules
- Previous experience with Amazon delivery will be an added benefit but not mandatory

Pay: £120.70-£135.00 per day
