Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to foster a welcoming atmosphere
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring quick and friendly service
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Support food safety protocols by handling dishes properly and adhering to hygiene standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Manage guest inquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, bar counters, and service stations throughout your shift
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments with excellent guest service skills
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety regulations, and basic food preparation methods
- Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling bills, cash transactions, and inventory checks
- Kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is a plus for supporting food prep when required
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist guests confidently
