We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Gas Engineer / Supervisor to lead and execute essential gas-related services across commercial and residential settings. Duties
- Perform installation, servicing, and repair of gas appliances, pipelines, and related equipment in compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols
- Conduct thorough inspections of gas systems to identify issues, diagnose faults, and implement effective solutions
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, plumbing tools, and carpentry skills to carry out complex mechanical tasks
- Manage heavy lifting operations safely when handling large components or equipment
- Ensure all work is documented accurately through detailed reports and logs for compliance purposes
- Oversee the safe use of assembly techniques for system components during installation or repairs
- Drive company vehicles as needed for site visits or equipment transportation in accordance with commercial driving regulations
Experience
- Proven experience as a Gas Engineer with a strong background in installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems in commercial or residential environments
- Supervisory experience leading technical teams or projects within the gas or mechanical trades preferred
- Proficiency with welding techniques and the use of hand tools and power tools required for various mechanical tasks
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, carpentry fundamentals, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical endurance during demanding tasks
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent for driving company vehicles on job sites
- Familiarity with assembly processes related to gas system components is advantageous
