Job Description – Receptionist & Sales Coordinator
Location: Stratton Court Care Home & Village, Cirencester
Hours: 0900-1730, with occasional late shift and includes weekends
About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, professional and approachable Receptionist & Sales Coordinator to join our team at Stratton Court Care Home & Village.
As the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors and healthcare professionals, you will play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming environment while supporting the day-to-day operation of the home. Alongside reception duties, you will assist with enquiries from prospective residents, conduct show rounds, and support the admissions process.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome residents, relatives, visitors and healthcare professionals in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls, taking accurate messages where required.
- Respond to enquiries from prospective residents and their families.
- Arrange and conduct show rounds of the home, promoting our facilities, services and community.
- Support the admissions and sales process by following up enquiries and maintaining accurate records.
- Keep the reception area clean, organised and welcoming at all times.
- Prepare and serve refreshments for visitors and prospective families.
- Assist the hospitality team during lunchtime service in the restaurant when required.
- Manage incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
- Carry out general administrative duties including filing, scanning, photocopying and data entry.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with GDPR and company policies.
- Work closely with all departments to ensure excellent communication and customer service.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a receptionist, hospitality, customer service or sales role is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A confident and professional telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
- A positive, flexible and proactive approach to work.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Experience within a care home, healthcare or hospitality environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
