Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Jewellery Designer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine artistic talent with technical skills to craft unique jewellery pieces and visual content. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, visualising, and presenting jewellery concepts, utilising a range of digital tools and design software. This paid position is ideal for individuals passionate about jewellery design, digital artistry, and visual storytelling.
Duties
- Develop innovative jewellery designs using digital design programmes such as CAD and SketchUp.
- Create detailed sketches and 3D models of jewellery pieces for presentation and production purposes.
- Utilise Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to produce high-quality visualisations, marketing materials, and promotional content.
- Engage in web design tasks related to the jewellery brand’s online presence, including layout adjustments and visual updates using HTML and CSS.
- Capture professional photographs of jewellery pieces for portfolios, website galleries, and social media platforms.
- Edit images and videos with Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, or Maya to enhance visual appeal.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop engaging content that highlights the craftsmanship and uniqueness of each piece.
- Assist in conceptualising collections through sketches, mood boards, and colour palettes that reflect current trends and brand identity.
Requirements
- Proven experience or strong interest in digital design, graphic design, or jewellery creation.
- Proficiency in SketchUp, CAD software, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Maya is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of web design fundamentals including HTML and CSS is advantageous.
- Skills in photography and video editing to produce compelling visual content.
- Ability to work creatively within a team environment whilst managing multiple projects efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in both design execution and presentation.
- A portfolio demonstrating previous work in digital design, graphic arts or jewellery visualisation is preferred.
