Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on a variety of commercial and residential buildings. Responsibilities
- Measure and cut roofing materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit and installation.
- Install various roofing systems including slate roofs ,concrete roofs , flat roofs, or membrane roofing according to project specifications.
- Prepare surfaces by removing old roofing materials, cleaning decks, and ensuring structural integrity before installation.
- Follow schematics and blueprints precisely to ensure correct placement of materials and adherence to safety standards.
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely, utilizing proper techniques and tools.
- Collaborate with team members, carpenters, masons, plumbers, and other trades to coordinate project tasks seamlessly.
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing projects or related trades such as carpentry or masonry.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools
- Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings relevant to roofing installations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights comfortably.
- Strong understanding of roofing materials, waterproofing techniques, and safety protocols.
- Basic plumbing or masonry knowledge is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for precise fabrication and installation tasks.
