About the Role
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Legal Administrator to join our large successful Residential department. The post holder will provide efficient secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within the department’s Investment Property team based at our Newcastle office.
This is a busy and varied role, and the main duties will include:
· Opening and closing files on our practice management system
· Obtaining ID, conducting AML searches, media checks and conflict searches
· Preparing documentation relevant to client matters e.g. epitomes of title, leases, contracts etc.
· Preparing invoices and completion statements and creating paying in slips and requisitioning payments
· Corresponding with clients and/or other law firms
· General office duties

About You
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
· Prior experience of working as a Legal Administrator / Secretary in a Residential Property or related environment
· Prior experience of using case management systems
· Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and databases
· Great communication skills and be able to work well in a team
· A keen eye for detail and the ability to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy
· The ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced working environment
