You must be flexible to work every Thursday, Friday and Sunday of each week. Able to start work at 8 am and finish at 5.30pm..
Duties
- Welcome customers with warmth and assist them in placing orders for drinks, snacks, and light meals
- Prepare and serve high-quality beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks following established recipes
- Handle food preparation tasks including assembling sandwiches, salads, or other light fare with precision and cleanliness
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols and proper storage procedures
- Manage serving duties efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of orders to enhance customer satisfaction
- Keep the cafe area clean, organized, and inviting by regularly sanitizing surfaces and restocking supplies
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure hygienic preparation and service environments
- Previous barista experience is highly desirable for crafting quality beverages with confidence
- Strong serving skills with a friendly approach that makes every customer feel appreciated
- Ability to assist with food preparation while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Good basic math skills for handling cash register operations accurately
- Excellent time management to prioritize tasks during busy periods without compromising quality or service
- Effective communication skills to work seamlessly with team members and engage positively with customers
