We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Senior Residential Support Workers and Residential Support Workers to join our team.
Hillingdon Home – Hayes, London
Hillview Home – High Wycombe
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Support children and young people in line with their care plans and individual needs
- Promote a safe, nurturing and supportive home environment
- Build positive and professional relationships with young people
- Support children with daily routines, education, appointments and activities
- Encourage independence, emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
- Maintain accurate records, incident reports and daily logs
- Follow safeguarding procedures and company policies at all times
- Work as part of a team to ensure high-quality care and consistency within the home
- Participate in training, supervision and team meetings
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people in a residential or support setting
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends and sleep-ins where required
- Enhanced DBS check required
