South Essex Gymnastics Club is looking to recruit a reliable and flexible Casual Cleaner to join our team on a zero-hours basis, providing cover across our two sites at Basildon Sporting Village and The Eversley Centre, Pitsea.
This role is ideal for someone who is available to work on an ad hoc basis, covering staff annual leave, sickness absence and busy periods. Shifts will primarily be early mornings, although occasional flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the Club.
Duties will include:
- General cleaning of all areas of the gymnastics facilities.
- Cleaning offices, reception areas, changing rooms and toilets.
- Emptying bins and replenishing consumables.
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout both sites.
- Following health and safety procedures and safe use of cleaning equipment and products.
The successful candidate will:
- Be reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Have good organisational and time-management skills.
- Be flexible and willing to work across both Club sites at short notice where possible.
- Have a positive attitude and take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Previous cleaning experience and knowledge of COSHH and health and safety regulations are desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
