Chef
Cranstons are looking for an enthusiastic, food loving and creative Chef to join our small kitchen team at Café Oswalds above our Penrith Foodhall.
This is a rare opportunity for a Chefs Position where you can show your love for food and creative flare using quality local products with; sociable, daytime, straight shifts that doesn’t impact your evenings.
Our team will quickly train you up and show you the ropes, we just need you to bring a willingness to learn.
About the Role
- Full and Part Time Hours Available (Full time is 5 days a week, 40 hours/ we can be flexible with part time hours)
- £14.09/ hour
- Weekly paid
- Weekend working on a rota basis
- Daytime straight shifts that don't impact your evenings
- Working within our wider Oswalds Team to deliver great service and quality food in a lfast paced working environment
What You'll Do
- Prepare, cook and present food to a high standard in a busy environement
- Work with wider team, including our Head Chef to make sure we always have a consistent level of stock
- Serving food in a timely and consistent manner
- Following all relevant hyigene, health and safety guidelines to a high standard
- Working with your team to create an excellent customer experience
- Getting stuck in with shared tasks including cleaning and tidying
- Using local ingredients to make high quality products
What You'll Need
- Able to work in a fast paced Kitchen environment
- Willingness to learn our menu and processes
- Happy to be a team player and work alongside our 20 strong team
