Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Driving: Full driving licence essential
Salary: £46,575 Per Annum

About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Care Manager with drive passion, commitment and creativity to lead our specialist service in Hirwaun. You will ensure high-quality care delivery, legal compliance, and continuous improvement. Strong leadership and team-building skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily running of the service and ensure high standards of care.
- Lead, support and develop staff, including recruitment, training and supervision.
- Manage rotas, staffing levels, records, reports and compliance.
- Maintain safe, effective services in line with legislation and company policies.
- Ensure personalised care plans and risk assessments are up to date.
- Build positive relationships with families, professionals and the wider community.
- Handle complaints, incidents and quality improvements.
- Support business development and staff retention.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing staff in a social care setting and excellent leadership skills
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points) and Class 1 business insurance
- Excellent understanding of residential and domiciliary care best practice
- Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills
- Knowledge of Safeguarding, Health & Safety, and Compliance
- Demonstrable leadership experience, and adept at leading a large team whilst ensuring high standards of care are delivered to individuals with complex needs
- NVW Level 5, or NVQ Level 3 or 4 with evidence of transferable skills from a previous management role
