Service Engineer – Luxury Doors & Windows
We are specialist company supplying and installing high-end internal and external luxury steel doors and windows throughout the UK.
We are looking for a Service Engineer to join our team and provide a high-quality aftercare and remedial service to our customers. This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has excellent attention to detail and is confident working independently.
The Role
As a Service Engineer, your day-to-day work will involve visiting customer properties and sites across the UK to carry out repairs, adjustments and finishing works to our luxury doors and windows.
The role is varied and may include:
- Polishing and removing scratches from glass
- Repairing and touching up metal luxury doors using rattle cans and other suitable methods
- Plaster patching and making good
- Painting and decorating
- Carpentry and general remedial work
- Carrying out adjustments and repairs to doors and windows
- Identifying problems and finding practical solutions
- Completing work to a very high standard
- Communicating professionally with customers
- Taking photographs and providing clear job reports
- Using our IT systems to record completed works and job information
- Travelling to customer sites throughout the UK
- Working independently and using your own initiative
About You
We are looking for someone who is practical, reliable and takes genuine pride in their work.
You will need:
- A full UK driving licence
- Good practical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with carpentry and general building/finishing work
- Painting and decorating experience
- A good eye for detail and a high standard of workmanship
- Good customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills and confidence using phones/tablets/computers
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- A self-motivated and positive attitude
- The ability to think on your feet and use your own initiative
- A professional appearance and approach when working in customers’ homes
Experience working with doors, windows, metalwork, glazing or high-end residential products would be an advantage, but is not essential for the right person.

Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
