Welcome to the opportunity to join our superb team. We're looking for a receptionist to work a Friday in our Winchester clinic, alongside our clinical team. This role will also be responsible for part-covering our other admin's annual leave.

The role:
We are looking for a Part-Time Receptionist to undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at our high-end Podiatry practice. You will be the "face" of the clinic for our patients and will be responsible for the first impression we make.
Please note the hours for this role: the standard contracted day is every Friday, 8am to 4pm. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to part cover a colleague's holiday leave throughout the year, during which time they will work an **additional two days per week**. This means your working pattern will vary across the year between a single day and a 3-day week, depending on cover requirements. We'll always give as much notice as possible of upcoming cover periods.
The first month will be based in our Basingstoke Clinic, 3 days per week for training.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality, while also being very perceptive and disciplined. A client-oriented approach is essential. The goal is to make patients feel comfortable and valued while attending our clinic.
Responsibilities for this role include:
* Keep reception area tidy and presentable
* Greet and welcome patients
* Answer all incoming calls, book appointments, forward messages as required
* Check, sort, action and forward emails as necessary
* Order medical stock when required
* Keep updated patient records and files
* Database management and updating
* Take payment and re-book patients for relevant treatment as per Podiatrist's instruction
* Some clinical set up
* Assist in certain clinical procedures (full training will be provided)
* Responsible for decontamination procedures and instrument sterilisation
* Responsible for retail stock management
* Health and Safety checks and paperwork
* Take up other duties as assigned
Requirements

* Proven experience as a Receptionist, Administrator is essential
* Highly proficient in English (oral and written)
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and Teams
* Strong communication and people skills
* Proficient in adapting to new systems and software
* Good organisational and multi-tasking abilities
* Problem-solving skills
* Customer service orientation
* Experience in online diary management
* **Flexibility and reliability** to take on additional days at short-to-medium notice to cover holiday periods
Pay: £25,350.00 per year
