Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Product Manager specialising in Enterprise Platforms to lead the development and management of our core software solutions. This role involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and client needs. Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end product management process for enterprise platform solutions, including SaaS offerings and IoT integrations.
- Develop comprehensive product roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends.
- Gather and analyse requirements from stakeholders, translating them into detailed user stories, test cases, and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, UX designers, QA testers, and sales to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Utilise project management tools such as Jira, TFS, and Microsoft Project to track progress and manage workflows efficiently.
- Oversee the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), ensuring adherence to methodologies such as SAFe and Waterfall where appropriate.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate product features against client expectations before deployment.
- Create wireframes and prototypes using Balsamiq or UML diagrams with tools like Microsoft PowerPoint or Visio to communicate design concepts clearly.
- Manage APIs integration, optimise SQL databases, utilise Git for version control, and coordinate with development teams on Java-based applications hosted on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Drive continuous improvement through analysis skills, market research, and feedback collection to refine product features and user experience.
- Lead stakeholder presentations and communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience in product management within enterprise technology environments; familiarity with SaaS platforms, B2B sales strategies, and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions is desirable.
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies including SAFe, Waterfall; experience with project management software such as Jira or TFS is essential.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java; experience working with APIs, HTML, UML diagrams, SQL databases, and AWS cloud services.
- Demonstrated ability in requirements gathering, writing detailed test cases, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and managing product development cycles effectively.
- Excellent analysis skills coupled with leadership qualities necessary for guiding teams through complex projects while maintaining clear communication channels.
- Skilled in wireframing tools such as Balsamiq or Microsoft PowerPoint for designing intuitive user interfaces.
- Strong organisational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation purposes.
- A recognised qualification in project management or related fields is preferred; a background in software development or related technical disciplines will be advantageous.

Pay: £52,021.61-£104,798.16 per year
