Roseville Smiles are looking for an apprentice Dental Nurse. Our friendly team are exceptional at providing mentoring, guidance and support to help our apprentice dental nurses achieve excellence.
We are offering an opportunity for someone who has the drive to succeed, a willingness to learn and wants to be the best Dental nurse possible.
As a training practice we have numerous staff with vast experience and a strong knowledge base to be able to train you in numerous procedures including general dentistry, reception duties, clear aligners, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, digital dentistry and Implants.
Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to maintain high standards of hygiene
- Support patients before, during, and after treatment, providing excellent patient care and reassurance
- Manage patient records accurately using IT systems and ensure all documentation is up-to-date
- Communicate clearly with patients, explaining procedures and answering questions.
- Organize appointment schedules efficiently to maximize practice workflow
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a safe environment for staff and patients
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to connect effectively with patients and team members
- Basic IT skills for managing patient records and appointment systems
- Genuine interest in patient care and nursing within a dental setting
- Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks smoothly
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- No prior experience necessary; full training will be provided for the right candidate
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and commitment to professional growth.
Requirements:
GCSE English level: 4
GCSE Maths level:4
or equivalent/ Functional English/Maths grade level:2
You would be required to sign up to a course provider, which if not already on a course we would assist you to do.
A half day each week would be provided in practice for completion of course work.
Pay: From £8.00 per hour
