Air Source Heat Pump Engineer
We are a family-run business with over 10 years' experience, and we're looking for an experienced Air Source Heat Pump Engineer to join our growing team.
Most of our work is based in the North West, although some nights away will be required from time to time.
This is a hands-on role for someone with solid experience in installing, commissioning and fault-finding on heat pumps, who can work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
The role
You will be responsible for:
- Installing air source heat pump systems to a high standard
- Commissioning systems and ensuring they are set up correctly and running efficiently
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out troubleshooting and repairs
- Working from drawings, manuals and technical information where required
- Ensuring all work complies with current building regulations and relevant safety standards
- Working closely with colleagues, site teams and customers to deliver jobs smoothly and professionally
- Completing work across mainly North West sites, with occasional travel and nights away
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in air source heat pump installation
- Strong skills in fault-finding, troubleshooting and commissioning
- The ability to work well on your own initiative and also as part of a team
- A practical, problem-solving mindset
- Good understanding of current building regulations and industry standards
- A reliable, professional approach and pride in high-quality workmanship

Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Heat pump installation: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Level 3 Air Source Heat Pump Certificate (preferred)
- CCN1 Domestic Gas Safety (required)
- Water Regulations Certification (preferred)
- Unvented Cylinder Certification (preferred)
Work authorisation:
- United Kingdom (required)
