Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Manager
Location: Epping, Essex (Head Office), with potential travel to our stores in Saffron Walden and Uckfield
Salary: Around £30,000-35,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Performance Bonus
Hours: 4–5 days per week (flexible for the right candidate)

From our flagship store in Epping, alongside our stores in Saffron Walden and Uckfield, we've spent almost a century helping generations of customers dress well. We stock premium brands including GANT, Barbour and a carefully selected range of European menswear, alongside footwear, accessories, formalwear, suit hire and made-to-measure tailoring.
While our reputation has been built in-store over nearly 100 years, we're now investing in the next chapter of our business by growing our digital presence.
We're looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to take ownership of our ecommerce and digital marketing and help build a thriving online business that reflects the quality of our stores.

The Role
This is a hands-on role combining ecommerce, content creation and digital marketing.
You'll take ownership of our Shopify website, social media channels and paid advertising, ensuring our online presence reflects the quality, service and heritage that our customers experience in-store.
You'll be encouraged to bring fresh ideas, test new approaches and continuously improve our digital performance.
No two days will be the same.
Key ResponsibilitiesEcommerce
- Manage and continuously improve our Shopify website.
- Upload and merchandise new products and collections.
- Write engaging product descriptions where required.
- Optimise product pages for customer experience and search visibility.
- Keep Shopify POS and website inventory accurate and aligned.
- Review and improve website navigation, collections and merchandising.
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and customer experience.
Digital Marketing
- Plan and deliver seasonal marketing campaigns.
- Manage Google Ads and Meta advertising campaigns.
- Recommend advertising budgets and optimise campaign performance.
- Report on return on ad spend (ROAS), conversions and customer acquisition.
- Develop promotional calendars around new collections, events and seasonal trading.
Content Creation
- Photograph new products and create engaging website imagery.
- Work with the owner on the Instagram and social media content.
- Create graphics for the website, email marketing and social media.
- Capture content within our stores to showcase products and our customer experience.
Social Media & Email
- Assist with our Instagram and other relevant social channels.
- Plan and schedule engaging content.
- Build our audience and encourage customer engagement.
- Create and send regular email marketing campaigns.
- Grow our customer database through digital channels.
Analytics & Growth
- Monitor website performance using Shopify Analytics and Google Analytics.
- Produce monthly reports with clear recommendations.
- Track key ecommerce metrics including sales, conversion rate, average order value and traffic.
- Work closely with the owners to develop and implement new ideas that drive business growth.
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys taking ownership and seeing the direct impact of your work.
Ideally you'll have experience with:
- Shopify
- Ecommerce merchandising
- Google Ads and Meta Ads
- Instagram and Meta Business Suite
- Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Email marketing platforms
- Basic photography and video editing
- Google Analytics
Experience within fashion, lifestyle or premium retail would be highly desirable.
Most importantly, you'll be creative, organised, commercially minded and excited about helping an established independent retailer grow its digital presence.
