Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our professional team. Grant Stephens Family Law is a law firm that specialises in all areas of family law, with offices in Cardiff and Swansea. We would be open to candidate for either office
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Manage debt recovery processes, ensuring timely and efficient case handling.
- Support mediation administration by arranging appointments and responding to client queries
- Manage wills administration, including scheduling appointments and witnessing signatures.
- Managing appointments in the office diary.
- Communicating openly and efficiently with fee earners and other staff.
- Highlighting any expressions of dissatisfaction to the relevant fee earner.
- Delivering documents
- Offering general support to the legal team as required
- Writing content and blog posts as directed by the marketing executive.
- Supporting administrative duties related to marketing and business development.
- Attending new client meetings with the solicitor and taking detailed notes
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Pay: From £25,000.00 per year
