An opportunity to join our busy office team based in Halstead, Essex. Please note that this is a fully on-site role and does not offer work-from-home/hybrid working.
You’ll be responsible for carrying out contract review on purchase orders from our customers and dealing with export control shipment to ensure smooth delivery of our commitments to our customers. Basic computer skills are necessary along with good communication skills.
Main duties will include:
· Carrying out contract reviews to ensure that costings and methods of manufacture are correct for our production processes.
· Quotations for existing parts, following a pricing structure.
· Preparing and ensuring that documentation for export control is kept up-to-date.
· Purchasing duties relating to sub-contract processes.
Secondary duties will include:
· Taking and directing incoming calls.
· Photocopying, scanning, and filling appropriate documents.
· Recording information, updating paperwork, maintaining documents and word processing.
· Carry out additional duties within the office as required by the company's commitments.
Experience
Experience of working with export control procedures and documentation is preferred for this role.
Terms of Work
This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday - Friday, in office hours that work alongside Production.
