Laundry Operative – Full Time

Nuwash Laundry Ltd is a growing commercial laundry business providing high-quality laundry services to hotels and hospitality clients across the region. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Laundry Operative to join our team and support our production floor operations.
This is a hands-on role within a busy laundry environment and would suit someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in their work, and can maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
As a Laundry Operative, your duties will include:
- Sorting and separating linen and materials ready for washing
- Loading and unloading commercial washing machines and dryers
- Selecting the correct wash and drying programmes
- Operating laundry machinery and equipment (full training provided)
- Folding, organising and preparing hotel linen for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
- Supporting the team to ensure production targets and quality standards are met

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physically capable of lifting and handling laundry items
- Detail-orientated with a strong work ethic
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Well presented with good personal hygiene
Previous experience in laundry, production, or hospitality operations is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Evening Shift: 4.00pm – 12:00am
- Occasional Saturday work during busy periods
- Flexibility may be required during peak periods (earlier starts or later finishes)
