We’re looking for someone who is punctual, proactive and reliable. You should take pride in your work, use your initiative, work well in a team, and always deliver outstanding customer service. This is an ad-hoc, flexible role, with shifts offered based on customer bookings. It also involves regular heavy lifting, so we’re looking for people who are confident they can meet the physical demands of the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with the safe loading, unloading and transportation of customers’ belongings.
- Lift and move furniture, appliances and other household items safely and efficiently.
- Protect customers’ items and properties using the correct handling techniques.
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service on every job.
- Follow driver instructions and work efficiently as part of a team.
- Help keep the van clean, organised and ready for the next job.
- Report any damages, issues or concerns immediately.
- Represent the Moviist brand with professionalism at all times.
Requirements
- Physically fit and capable of safely lifting and carrying heavy items.
- Punctual, proactive and reliable.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work well as part of a team and use your own initiative.
- Calm under pressure with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Available to work flexible, ad-hoc hours, including some evenings and weekends.
- Previous removals, delivery or manual handling experience is desirable, but not essential.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
