We are looking for a Qualified Dental Nurse to join our growing practice at 202 Dental following one of our long-term team member's retirement . The position is part time covering Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday on a permanent contract.
202 Dental is a completely Private Independent Practice, computerised using EXACT Software of Excellence and digital x-rays. We have 3 active surgeries shared between the dentists and hygienist. Rotary endodontic equipment is used. The Straumann system is used for implants.
Practice hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm. Dental appointment times are tailored to fit the patient’s needs. All our nurses are fully qualified. Any additional qualifications in related duties will be considered in applications, notably implants though we are will to train.

Responsibilities:
· Aid in the care of patients
· Providing chair side support to the dentists and hygienist
· Preparing and maintaining dental equipment, instruments and materials. Notably in relation to infection control procedures
· Maintaining stock levels in surgery
· Familiar with and professionally compliant to relevant healthcare legislation and best practice guidance
· Accurately complete medical records as directed by the clinician
· Reception cover
Candidates must:
· Have a Dental Nursing Qualification
· Be GDC Registered
· Be subject to an enhanced DBS check on successful application
