Hours: 15 hours per week - 9:00-14:00

We are currently recruiting a Domestic Assistant Supervisor to support the team at Larne Health Centre.

Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Supervising and supporting domestic cleaning duties across the Health Centre
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across sanitary areas, floors, furniture, fittings and other surfaces
- Using cleaning equipment safely, including vacuum cleaners, buffers and floor scrubbers
- Emptying waste and replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies
- Removing and rehanging bed screens and curtains as required
- Supporting ward catering and kitchen duties where needed
- Ordering, receiving and safely storing cleaning materials and supplies
- Completing cleaning schedules and ensuring procedures are followed correctly
- Following COSHH, Health & Safety and Trust policies at all times
- Supporting building security and communicating professionally with patients and colleagues
- Completing any additional duties appropriate to the role
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised and confident taking responsibility within a busy healthcare environment.
You will need:
- Previous experience working as a Domestic Assistant
- Previous supervisory experience
- Good knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe working practices
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team
