As a Territory Sales Lead, you will oversee and inspire a regional team of Sales Engineers across the South UK, driving growth and strengthening Sulzer’s presence in key markets. You’ll help deliver innovative solutions for the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of rotating equipment across our full service portfolio.
Your Main Responsibilities
Lead and support a regional team of Sales Engineers in promoting Sulzer’s full portfolio of service solutions for rotating equipment - including inspection, overhaul, repair, upgrades, and replacement parts.
Lead monthly order intake performance for the South UK region, taking full ownership of targets and consistently delivering in line with business forecasts and commitments.
Drive growth in Sulzer Services key markets , focusing on electric motors, generators, pumps, turbines, compressors, and other critical rotating machinery used across power generation, water, oil & gas, chemicals, and industrial sectors.
Pursue new business opportunities, championing Sulzer’s products, technologies, and services , supporting the team in presenting solutions that address complex engineering challenges.
Champion the use of Salesforce , ensuring all opportunities within the South UK team are accurately logged, maintained, and progressed in accordance with Sulzer’s gate process.
Collaborate closely with peers across the UK & Nordics region, fostering a strong team ethos and maintaining alignment on goals, strategy, and best practice.
Represent Sulzer at key industry and customer events , strengthening brand presence, building relationships, and enhancing Sulzer’s reputation within the regional market.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Proven experience in technical sales leadership , managing a regional or field-based sales team.
Strong knowledge of rotating machinery service industry, across pumps, gearboxes, compressors, motors, generators etc
Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify and articulate technical concepts to all stakeholders.
A proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to drive team performance and cultivate new opportunities.
A strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into action.
A Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
