About the Role
Aberdeen has a strong automotive and commercial vehicle market and at GripGo Tyre Limited we focus on providing reliable tyre services vehicle support and practical advice that keeps customers safely on the road.
We are looking for an Automotive Service Advisor who can act as the main point of contact between customers and our workshop team.
You will help customers understand recommended work coordinate bookings prepare service information and make sure each vehicle moves through the workshop efficiently from arrival to collection.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service: Welcome customers understand their service requirements and provide clear professional advice throughout their visit.
Service Booking: Schedule tyre fitting maintenance inspections and other workshop services while managing available workshop capacity.
Workshop Coordination: Communicate customer requirements clearly to technicians and monitor progress to help keep work on schedule.
Service Updates: Keep customers informed about vehicle progress additional work completion times and any changes to expected costs.
Quotations: Prepare accurate estimates for tyre replacement servicing repairs and related automotive work.
Parts Coordination: Work with parts and stock teams to confirm availability of tyres components and other required items.
Customer Records: Maintain accurate booking service and customer information within the company systems.
Service Quality: Help resolve customer queries or concerns and ensure each vehicle is handed back with the agreed work clearly explained.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in automotive customer service workshop administration service advising parts support or a closely related role.
Automotive Knowledge: A practical understanding of tyres vehicle maintenance servicing and common workshop terminology is preferred.
Customer Service Skills: Confident dealing with customers in person by telephone and through email while maintaining a professional and helpful approach.
Organisation: Able to manage bookings workshop schedules customer updates and multiple priorities throughout the working day.
Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in straightforward language.
Commercial Awareness: Comfortable preparing estimates discussing recommended work and supporting appropriate additional sales without using high pressure techniques.
Problem Solving: Calm and practical when handling scheduling changes parts delays customer concerns or unexpected workshop issues.
Tools: Experience with workshop management booking CRM invoicing or automotive service systems is preferred.
Mindset: You are organised approachable and customer focused. You take ownership of customer queries communicate clearly and work closely with the workshop team to provide a reliable and professional service experience.
Pay: £2,600.00-£3,100.00 per month
