Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in project delivery within safety-critical industries, preferably nuclear
- Deep understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) processes across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and construction
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, prepare reports, and recommend improvements
- Excellent communication skills with confidence to engage with internal teams, supply chain, and external stakeholders
- Proven leadership in complex quality environments, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively
- Fluent in English; French language skills are a plus
Nice to Have Skills:
- Knowledge of nuclear sector specifics, including site license conditions and relevant codes
- Experience with pressure systems, welding, NDT/NDE techniques
- Familiarity with improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Professional accreditation, e.g., Chartered Quality Professional or membership with the Chartered Quality Institute
- Regulatory interaction experience, such as with ONR
Preferred Education and Experience:
- HNC/HND or degree in Science or Engineering, or equivalent qualification
- Significant experience in quality assurance/control in nuclear or other safety-critical industries
- Demonstrable success in delivering results and managing supply chain quality
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work across multiple locations including Bristol, Paris, and other contractor sites
- Willingness to engage in occasional site visits and inspections
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards aligned with EDF Energy policies
