Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and recently qualified Fire & Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems, CCTV surveillance, access control, and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
- Support system design activities by interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate implementation.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical components, mechanical parts, and computer hardware associated with security infrastructure.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to carry out installation tasks on construction sites or existing facilities.
- Collaborate with team members on telecommunication setups and network configurations related to security systems.
- Assist in testing system functionality, verifying proper operation of CCTV cameras, sensors, alarms, and communication links.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, system configurations, schematics updates, and inspection reports.
Experience
- Recent qualification or certification in electronic engineering, security systems technology, or a related field.
- Fundamental understanding of computer networking principles as they relate to security systems.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for installing hardware components in various environments.
- Hands-on experience with computer hardware setup or troubleshooting is advantageous.
- Electrical experience including wiring, circuit testing, and power supply management.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, schematics reading, and system design principles.
- Exposure to telecommunication infrastructure or construction projects involving security installations.
- Knowledge of intrusion detection systems (IDS), power tools usage, and construction site safety practices is desirable.

Pay: £25,420.00-£32,000.00 per year
