Key Responsibilities:
-
Review each ITT, PQQ and RFP on receipt, breaking down the buyer’s requirements, scoring criteria and deadlines into a clear response plan.
- Agree win themes with the lead salesperson, then structure every answer against the scoring criteria before drafting starts.
- Write clear, persuasive responses that directly answer the question, gathering evidence from subject matter experts across the business and using AI tooling to accelerate first drafts without losing quality.
- Ensure every submission is fully compliant with the buyer’s specification, page limits and scoring rubric, and edit inputs from sales, legal and finance into one consistent, high-quality voice.
- Manage clarification questions and final submission through the buyer’s procurement portal, working to strict deadlines and escalating early when anything puts them at risk.
- Build and maintain our bid library of reusable answers, templates, case studies and past submissions, so every bid starts further ahead than the last.
About you:
-
3+ years managing tenders end-to-end, with submissions you’ve owned from receipt through to award.
- You’ve written bids for mid-market and enterprise buyers, and you understand how larger organisations evaluate, score and buy.
- Exposure to public sector frameworks such as CCS is preferable. You know how framework procurement works and what a compliant, scoring submission looks like.
- You write plain, persuasive English and turn technical detail from busy experts into answers that score, quickly and to a consistently high standard.
- You run multiple bids in parallel to immovable deadlines, and you flag risks early rather than letting them surface late.
- Compliance checks, formatting standards and consistency across stakeholder inputs are where you take pride. Nothing goes out with an error.
- You keep clarification logs, portals, versions and evidence tidy and current, so the lead salesperson always knows exactly where the bid stands.
