We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Revenues Officer to join our busy Council Tax team. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll deal with customer enquiries, administer council tax accounts, assess discounts and exemptions, investigate changes in circumstances and make decisions in line with legislation and council policy.
Working as part of a supportive team, you’ll play an important role in helping residents while ensuring accounts are accurate and up to date. You’ll be expected to manage your own workload, work to deadlines and provide a high standard of customer service across a range of communication channels.
We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills, good attention to detail and a positive, flexible approach. Experience in council tax or local government is desirable but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided. If you enjoy problem solving, learning new skills and making a real difference to our residents, we’d love to hear from you.
