Full Job Description
Vere Bros (Contractors) Ltd is seeking a full time employed member to join our team. The candidate must have experience in groundworks, civil engineering and must have a ticket to use a tracked excavator. Daily activities will include, digging out and laying hardcore, laying edgings/kerbs, installing new drainage, concreting, sewer connections, tank/pump installations and tarmac surfacing. Monday - Friday based on 39 hour weeks. Overtime pay at time and a half.
Duties Include:
- Operate Excavator/Dumper/Roller
- All aspects of civil engineering undertaken including laying kerbs,concreting,
- Various drainage works including Installing tanks/seperators/pumps
- Must have driving license
- Maintain safe working conditions by following safety procedures, rules of operation, and regulations
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and in a gang of 2/3
Experience:
- Knowledge of basic safety rules and regulations CSCS/NPORS/CPCS
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
