Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wood Machinist to join our dynamic skilled team in manufacturing doors and frames for bespoke interior furniture . In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining woodworking machinery to produce high-quality wood components and finished products.

Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of woodworking machines including saws, planers, and sanders to shape and finish wood materials according to specifications
- Fabricate custom parts by measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood pieces with hand tools and power tools
- Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage, movement, and inventory control of raw materials and finished products
- Assist with tooling setup, maintenance, and calibration to optimize machine performance and product quality
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements, tolerances, and material estimations during fabrication processes
- Collaborate with team members on assembly projects, and quality inspections to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience in woodworking fabrication or as a Wood Machinist with a strong mechanical aptitude
- Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools,saws, and other equipment
- Understanding of materials handling procedures within a warehouse setting for efficient workflow management.
Preferred qualifications include experience with assembly processes, tooling management, as well as familiarity with warehouse operations. Pay: £13.00-£15.50 per hour
