Overview
We are seeking dedicated Housekeeping Assistants to join our team, providing essential cleaning and maintenance services across various facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitising surfaces in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces according to health and safety standards
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and stored properly after use
- Follow established procedures for waste disposal and recycling
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to infection control protocols, especially within hospital or healthcare settings
- Support specialised cleaning tasks as required, including deep cleans or specialised sanitation procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is advantageous
- Experience working within hospital environments is a plus but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on hygiene and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills and reliability are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
