We are looking for a motivated and experienced Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACT) to join our friendly and supportive team on a part-time basis.
What You'll Do
- Perform final accuracy checks on dispensed prescriptions in accordance with GPhC standards.
- Dispense prescription medicines safely and accurately.
- Support pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Provide advice to patients on the safe use of their medications.
- Maintain stock levels and ensure the pharmacy is well organised.
- Process prescriptions efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
- Follow all pharmacy regulations, SOPs, and professional standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding patient experience.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Qualified Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACT).
- NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Technician qualification (or equivalent recognised by the GPhC).
- Previous experience working in a community pharmacy.
- Excellent accuracy, organisation, and communication skills.
- A positive, patient-focused attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
Working Hours
- Part-time position.
- Flexible availability between Monday and Friday.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and night shifts.
