Job Summary
We are looking for reliable and experienced Warehouse Operatives / Order Pickers to join our busy distribution team. Day shift hours 0800 -1700hrs.
This is a physically demanding role involving continuous walking, lifting, order picking, loading, and stock handling throughout the shift. Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and meeting productivity and accuracy targets.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse or order-picking experience
- Good level of physical fitness and ability to lift and move stock safely throughout the shift
- Experience using handheld scanners, picking sheets, or warehouse management systems
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
- Right to work in the UK
- Counterbalance or Reach Forklift Truck experience
- Valid FLT licence/certification
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders
- Use warehouse systems and handheld scanners to process orders
- Load and unload deliveries safely
- Replenish stock locations and carry out stock checks
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Follow all company health and safety procedures
Pay: £12.71-£13.02 per hour
