Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 7.00am-4.00pm (including 1 hour lunch). 45 hours per week.

We are looking for the right, motivated, individual who will thrive in a customer driven, future focused, proactive and friendly environment to join our busy transport team in the role of Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Mechanic based at our Wickford depot. What the role is like
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers, to VOSA standards. Therefore, excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and industry experience and knowledge is key. Holding IRTEC Accreditation is desirable but not essential.
They’ll also be required to maintain a high standard of housekeeping, as well as conduct cosmetic repairs, which is likely to include painting and welding. We operate a fleet of new DAF trucks. A Class 1 C+E licence would be an advantage, but not essential.
