Senior Early Years Educator – Exciting Opportunity!
The Wolds Day Nursery, Old Melton Road, Plumtree, NG12 5NH
We are delighted to be expanding our team and are looking for passionate, dedicated Senior Early Years Educators to join our warm and welcoming nursery setting.
We currently have vacancies across the following rooms:
- Discoverers (6 weeks - 16 months)
- Inventros (2year old)
What We’re Looking For
- A caring, motivated and enthusiastic practitioner
- Someone available for at least 3 / 4 days per week, working 7:30am–6:00pm
- Commitment to our opening schedule of 48 weeks per year
- A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) – essential
- A strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection and the importance of maintaining a safe environment for all children
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Create a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment tailored to the developmental needs of your room age group
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
- Take the lead in promoting children’s learning, well-being, safety and independence
- Build strong, supportive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Observe, assess and record children’s progress, providing next steps and contributing to learning journals
- Maintain high standards of care, safeguarding and health & safety at all times
- Follow all nursery safeguarding policies and procedures and act promptly on any concerns
- Support and role-model good practice to junior staff and apprentices
- Communicate effectively with parents/carers, providing regular updates and feedback
- Contribute to the overall running of the room, including routines, organisation and resourcing

Pay: £27,040.00-£29,120.00 per year
