Job Title: IT Manager
Salary: £79,400 - £99,000 depending on skills demonstrated
Location: Desford, Leicestershire
Contract: Full time & permanent
The Opportunity
As an IT Manager, you will lead the delivery of IT services across multiple facilities, including infrastructure, applications, project delivery, and ongoing system support. You will ensure solutions are aligned to business needs, delivered to a high standard, and continuously improved to support performance, resilience, and growth.
As IT Manager, your accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:
Oversee the design, delivery, and support of IT services, systems, and projects across the facility
Champion IT controls, security, disaster recovery, and corporate standards to protect and sustain operations
Monitor performance, identify opportunities, and drive improvements across systems, services, and processes

What You Can Demonstrate:
Leadership: Leads teams effectively by setting clear direction, driving performance, and developing capability. Translates business goals into clear priorities, holds others accountable, and fosters a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Information Technology Trends: Applies knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform decisions and support business outcomes. Evaluates options, identifies opportunities for improvement, and ensures technology choices align to strategic direction.
Analytical Thinking: Uses structured, data-driven approaches to break down complex problems, identify root causes, and evaluate solutions. Considers risks, costs, and impact to make sound, informed decisions.
IT Service Management (ITSM): Leads IT service delivery using established best practices, ensuring reliable, high-quality services. Drives consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement across service operations.
Qualification: Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (preferred), demonstrating a strong foundation in IT systems, service management, and technology principles.
