We are seeking a skilled Alarm Installation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of security systems including intruder alarms, CCTV, Access control and fire alarm systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise technical expertise in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the safety and security of clients’ premises. The position involves working on-site with a focus on system design, schematics interpretation, and the integration of various security components.

Responsibilities
- Install intruder alarm systems, CCTV cameras, access control and fire alarm systems in accordance with client specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct system testing and commissioning to ensure optimal operation.
- Interpret technical schematics, system design documents, and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate installation.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on installed systems.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with clients to assess site requirements and provide expert advice on system configuration.
- Document installation procedures, system configurations, and maintenance activities accurately.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all phases of installation work.
Experience
- Proven experience in system installation is essential.
- Strong knowledge of NSI codes of practice.
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction practices will be beneficial.
- Experience working with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings is required.
- Practical understanding of the use of power tools operation is necessary.
- Prior exposure to construction environments or similar roles involving hand tools and power tools will be considered an asset. Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
