We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic PR Assistant to join our growing team. This is an entry-level role offering full training, hands-on experience and a clear pathway to develop a successful career in public relations.
Working with experienced PR professionals, former journalists and business education specialists, you'll support campaigns for leading universities and business schools, helping promote world-class research to an international audience. You'll learn how to identify stories with genuine media potential, build relationships with journalists and contribute to campaigns that secure coverage in leading media outlets.
About the role
You'll support senior colleagues with client delivery, whilst also developing your own practical PR skills and media relationships. As your confidence grows, so will your responsibilities.
What you'll be doing
- Will be involved with generating content for clients as instructed by senior colleagues, ensuring that each client meets agreed targets for success.
- Writing and developing content, including press releases, media pitches, blogs, case studies, website copy, social media content and thought leadership articles.
- Researching journalists, publications and influencers, and helping build media relationships.
- Supporting media outreach and client delivery.
- Tracking media coverage and assisting with reporting.
- Keeping up to date with industry news and sharing ideas with the team.
- Managing deadlines, responding promptly to colleagues and contributing to the smooth running of client accounts.
- Contributing ideas to help improve our work and the business.
