We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Forklift Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks . This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods and materials.
- Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring safe handling practices are followed
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and improve workflow processes.
Skills
- Proficient in heavy lifting techniques and materials handling practices.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory.
- Competence in basic mathematics for inventory counting and record keeping.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely (Counter Balance certificate essential).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
