Position: Catering Assistant
Pay: £13.17 per hour
Hours: 37.5 per week on a rota basis and so will include some weekends
Location: Tunbridge Wells, TN4
Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Catering Assistant to join our team in a busy care home kitchen located in Tunbridge Wells.
This role will involve:
- Washing up
- Cleaning
- Setting up the dining room
- Transporting tea & coffee trolleys around the home
- Serving lunches & suppers
- Basic food preparation
- Tasks such as sandwich making & vegetable prep
Shift times will vary between 7am – 3pm and 4pm – 7pm. The position is 37.5 hours per week, and extra shifts may be available if required. You will be required to work some weekends on a rota basis.
Perks: A hot meal provided on duty, full training and uniform supplied. There is also potential for this position to lead to a permanent role as opportunities arise.
