About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join our team at our Ossett site. Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a key role in supporting warehouse and supply chain operations, leading day-to-day activities, driving team performance, and ensuring products and materials are available to meet customer and business needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their leadership skills within a fast-paced operational environment.
What will I be doing?

Support the management and day-to-day operation of Warehouse and Supply Chain activities.

Lead, coach, and develop Warehouse and Supply Chain team members to achieve operational objectives.

Coordinate the planning, movement, and storage of materials and finished goods to meet customer and business requirements.

Monitor and optimise inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing stockholding costs.

Support supply chain planning activities to balance demand, capacity, and operational efficiency.

Ensure warehouse operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse performance, productivity, and service levels.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve supply chain processes.

Analyse operational data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement.

Support the delivery of cost, service, quality, and inventory targets across the warehouse and supply chain function.

Assist in developing and implementing strategic plans to improve operational performance and support business growth.

Contribute to the optimisation of warehouse processes, systems, and resources to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
What do I need to be successful?

Experience in warehousing, supply chain, planning, logistics, procurement, or operations.

Strong People Management are essential.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good understanding of inventory management principles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Experience using ERP systems - SAP is essential.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
-
GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
